The old airstrip on top of Mount Thessiger is one of the must do trips while in Port St Johns. It still has small Cessnas and other light craft using the strip but the wind can be quite a challenge. Most of the time it’s full of cows and pats but the experience is awesome with the Berg towards the West on a clear day and the ocean out to the East.
